About the Puritan Research Center

World Class

The Puritan Research Center supports research of the Reformation and Post-reformation eras through its extensive collection of primary and secondary sources specializing in Dutch Nadere Reformatie, English Puritan, and American Puritan studies. International research cooperation, as well as in-house research projects, position the Puritan Research Center as a leading research center in Puritan and (Post) Reformation studies. Secure online access offers PRTS students, and scholars around the world a gateway to the digital primary and secondary resources of the Puritan Research Center.

The seminary advertises the Puritan Research Center in order to foster study of the Puritans by ministers, seminary professors, and theological students throughout the world. Those engaged in doctoral studies or on sabbatical leave are also welcome.

Visiting Scholar Program

Research Scholar Fellowship
The Puritan Research Center plans to offer up to two annual Research Scholar Fellowship awards. These awards will be available to any faculty member from a college, university, or institute for the purpose of scholarship in the field of Dutch, English, or American Puritans.

Research Student Fellowship
The Puritan Research Center plans to offer an annual Student Fellowship. The Student Fellowship is a four-week research fellowship available to any graduate-level student from a college or university other than PRTS. The field of study must be Dutch, English Puritan, or American Puritan or related studies.
